Navigating Clinical Complexity

About Jeff

I'm an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner specialising in lower limb within the NHS, working within orthopaedics, triage and rehabilitation settings.

Outside of my day job I am passionate about helping fellow clinicians upskill in the developing and complex world of MSK. Whether that be mentoring, in-person teaching at home and abroad, delivering online eduction or creating weekly podcasts.

This site is where it all lives.

The Force Awakens: How to REALLY use biomechanics in clinical practice.

An online biomechanics course for MSK clinicians

Most of us were taught biomechanics as a checklist of "optimal" movement patterns; but this is actually a gross misrepresentation of one of the more important topics within our profession.

Across nine chapters, this course rebuilds biomechanics from the ground up. Grounded in physics and ecological dynamics, not pseudobiomechanical reasoning. By the end, you'll know when biomechanics actually matter and how to direct rehab decisions with more confidence and less dogma.

Lifetime access

No equations or trigonometry required!

Weekly conversations between Jeff and James on the questions MSK clinicians debate and argue about; evidence, reasoning and the messy bits inbetween!

Long form writing on lower limb pathology and clinical reasoning, biomechanics, and the questions your training might not have covered.
